Dr. Rick Nadeau was born and raised in Northern Ontario. He graduated from the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (Laurentian University) in 2011. He completed his orthopaedic residency training as well as the Master of Science in Surgery degree program at Western University in 2016. He has additional fellowship training in primary and revision lower extremity joint reconstruction from the University of British Columbia. He also has a keen interest in the management of orthopaedic trauma. He is currently appointed as Medical Staff at Lions Gate Hospital, Squamish General Hospital, Whistler Health Care Center and Sechelt Hospital. He also holds active professional memberships with the Canadian Orthopaedic Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and BC Orthopaedic Association.

As a proud member of the Masters Orthopedic Care and Sports Medicine team, Dr. Nadeau understands that the pain and loss of function arising from acute musculoskeletal injury and/or degenerative joint disease can have a profound influence on quality of life. He takes great pride in providing high quality care and seeing his patients through their journey to recovery of form and function. Active academic involvement in research and education means that treatment recommendations will be supported by up-to-date clinical evidence and current developments in surgical technique and implant design.
